A Little Middle East in the East

On February 18th 2015, the University of Haifa and the East China Normal University (ECNU) signed an agreement to establish a new form of collaboration between their institutions. Starting this spring, the two universities will cooperate in the fields of neuroscience, mathematics, education, technology, computing and data management as well as environmental management – subjects they are both strong in and have achieved important research results in, in the past.

Planning A Partnership: UofH Meets MOI, Kenya

MOI University, the second largest university in Kenya with 50,000 students across seven campuses, invited four members of the University of Haifa for a week of consultations about future collaborations between the two institutions.
 Former Kenyan President and Chancellor of Kabarak University, Daniel Moi, expressed his contentment with the negotiations by claiming on how the Kenyan universities would benefit from the Israeli academic knowhow.

4 New International Master's Programs Opening This Fall

Starting Fall 2015, the University of Haifa will launch four more international graduate programs. In addition to the existing programs, which include various subjects as Art Therapy, Holocaust Studies, Maritime Civilisations, National Security Studies and more, interested students will be able to add to their list of options the fields of an MPH in Global Health Leadership and Administration, an MA in Multicultural Social Work, an MA in Jewish Studies and a double-degree MA program in International Relations with the University of Warsaw.
